100 Things To Do in Cleveland And Beyond: Activity 18-19

Beachwood City Park

We were feeling exercise-y and decided to go on a family walk and bike ride. We found this super cute trail in Beachwood Park (the entrance is on Richmond Rd). Miles felt great about taking his bike on a "real" bike trail.

And Faye was content searching for birds and butterflies.

I, for one, was just enjoy those awesome moments when you think to yourself: This is how life is supposed to be.

After our walk, we went to the nearby Beachwood City Aquatic Center Playground.

This, my friends, is a fantastic playground. It has everything you could want in a playground: lots of swings, some of the tallest slides I've seen on a playground, rock walls, a dinosaur digging sand pit, diggers, teeter-totters and even some extra fun toys/machines we had never before seen.

It may sound just li\ke any old playground, but it isn't. The reason for its greatness is that the area is so open and spacious that you can keep tabs on all the kids at once- say if you were winded from a previous walk and just want to sit down.

The kids love this park. And so did we. We will definitely be returning.
