I don't remember if I actually used any "naughty" words during this painful -sorry, let me try that again: horribly and utterly painful- experience, but I sure was thinking them...
We tried. I failed. Miserably.
I guess I will just have to deal with the fact that we will have two little people running around in diapers at the Cain home until I am ready to try again. And I don't see me being ready any time soon. Maybe I can convince Mama Suite to come out here and see if she can work her magic after Female Fetus comes. We'll see.
So, I'm sure you want specifics- everyone loves a good horror story- but I'm not going to give them. Lets just say this- my efforts were flushed down the toilet. Zing!

Welcome to my world! I was like you. I wanted only one in diapers too. Then I just wanted him to be trained by Two, now that Two and a half has passed I am praying things will stick before Three!!! Every few Saturdays, I am like," this is it, let's give it another go." I lay in bed on Friday night and plan exactly how I am going to make it stick. I guess when their ready their ready, in the mean time I am THAT lady with the 6 year old still in diapers! Wow I am a nut case. Good luck, let me know if anything works for you. You are still wonder woman for doing 2/3.

At least you were brave enough to admit that it wasn't going to work right now. I spent way to much time potty training Gracie!!! I was determined that it was going to happen before Sammy was born. Not even close!!! We were still struggling with it when we moved here, and still struggle occasionally!
I guess no good thing comes without a price, and when it comes to potty-training, I haven't got a dime. Good luck next time.
I am REALLY dreading the whole potty training thing! It seems like everyone has tips and stories about how to do it. I would look at the library for a book about it maybe?
Been there done that. Tried and failed. Wanted to swear myself. Hence my child wears diapers. Everyone around says "oh he is so smart and talking so much you could totally potty train him" umm...no he failure is still to fresh! haha
