Well, I'm stilling having trouble keeping anything down and so yesterday I had to go get my second IV. Apparently I was so dehydrated that the nurse couldn't find any blood.
She was searching for a useful vein for about 10 minutes and when she thought she finally got one, she poked me serached for about two minutes and nothing came out. So she tried again. This time she poked around for about five minutes (did I mention the burning pain?) and when I would whince she said this, "talk to me- tell me what's going on..." So I said, "Well, it just feels like there is a needle in my arm and it's a bit prickly."
After that- she said that she was done trying and that the doctor would have to do it. He came in, gave it one good look and said he was going to pass it off to someone who he knew wouldn't have a problem. I was grateful.
Finally, we got it done and after the shivers, two large blankets and a heat lamp, we went home. I finally kept down some food last night and it was like a dream.
Pregnancy hates me.

I feel so sorry for you and wish there is some way I could help you! Aren't you just about done with your first trimester? Maybe things will start to get better. We will keep you in our prayers. Good luck!
I am so sorry. I cant imagine being that sick all while trying to move. Good luck with everything, I hope you have a lot of help packing.
Dude. I am so sorry. Were you like this with Miles? I hope it all subsides soon. I hear there's some medication (I'm sure you have too) for extreme cases of the prego sickies. This sounds a bit extreme. Sorry.
Friend! I am so sorry that you are so sick! I hope you feel a little better for your birthday tomorrow!!
HAPPY early BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Hi there,
You are probably wondering who this is, I am Brook, from your soon to be ward in Erie. I was checking out your blog and saw this sad post. I wanted to let you know I was this exact same way with both of my boys. I had to have the IVs and the whole bit as well. They finally got me on a medication called ZOFRAN...It worked like a dream. It was very, very expensive when I was on it ($35 for each pill, taking one every four to six hours) Luckily after proving how sick I was my insurance picked up the majority of the cost. Good news though, now there is a generic for this med, which makes it much cheeper. I would definitely try it, because I know it works for a lot of people who get really sick with pregnancy. I was on it till about week 20 with both of my boys. I hope you get feeling better soon. My heart goes out to you.
Brook

Oh you'll be fine! little Jr #2 will be worth it. Can't wait for it to be my turn again. We just heard good news about "our" house! Hope your experience is going well too. Maybe we can chat about it this Sunday. Will you be in the 10th ward?
You are a trooper...were you this sick with Miles? That is miserable!
