Ok. I know that some of you have not yet read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. This is the best novel written in English Literature. Now is your chance.
And if you have already read it- you know how good it is and you can read it again with me. This will be my third time.
My favorite thing about reading books like this is that I start to say things in my best Kiera Knightly accent such as, "It is of great honor to present an invitation to my company for such an exquisite read as this."
It's like after I watch Lord of the Rings I want to add "the winds of the North" to everything I say.
David does the same thing when we watch such great movies as Jessica Alba's hit Honey or everybody's favorite Stomp the Yard only he always says, "mmm... girl." He is really white.
Oh, and I know I'm lacking with blog updates, but I will soon and I have some goodins.
That is all.

You inspire me to finally read this book. I've meant to forever. I am married to an avid Jane Austen fan and have seen the movie numerous times.
Thanks for all the great blog tips!
Cic, although Pride & Prejudice is a great book, I'm afraid you are wrong about it being the best book ever written. Pride & Prejudice isn't even Jane Austen's best book. Persuasion is. Have you read it? I highly recommend it.
I haven't read it- I guess that will need to be on our list. I think you should join the book club.
I just watched all the movies from the PBS special. I am now wanting to learn their dances. I have to say that I like the Hollywood versions of almost all of them, except AE's P&P!!
We also just watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy and we keep finding ways to say "Run you fools" and when we cough we say "Gollum". I would love to learn elvish too!
I totally want to read this with you guys. I probably won't be able to this month though (sorry... I guess that is what I get for going out of town for a whole month). I also LOVE this book! Have fun reading it everyone!
P&P is my favourite book of all time... the only thing I liked better was that pictorial of "Barbie and the Rockers" back in the 80s.
But seriously...I love that book. I love that book as much as I loved Eric Segal's "Love Story" ... book club should read that too.
