I used to feel a bit shameful when I would admit to watching American Idol. You know how it goes... You watch the poor people humiliate themselves in front of billions of people during the idol auditions- but then you get hooked.
This year I have a good excuse to watch. Miles dances to the music and always claps his hands after David Archuleta sings. My son knows talent.
I'm pretty sure David Archuleta is singing to me when he is up there. We share a special bond. We are both from Utah, we both like singing... We both... have friends...
...See- only he and I share that special bond. How many people from Utah do you know that like to sing and have friends? That's what I thought. Just the two of us.
I watched him sing tonight and I was literally crying by the end. (Although, to be fair, I also cried when Marge told Maggie that they shared a "special bond.")
Oh adorable David Archuleta- I'll be seeing you next week.

You're not alone, Cic. Katie and I (not regular Idol watchers) have caught David Archuleta fever, too. Katie liked the Australian for a while, but after last night, it was all about David Archuleta!
I think he is so dang cute. His voice really is so amazing. I cant wait to see how well he does. I love his reaction to the girls cat calling him. He's so funny about it. HOpe Miles is feeling better. Love ya

Okay, I agree with you that he is awesome. but he has got to down play the whole "who me? you REALLY love me?" act. The last thing we need is another Melinda Dolittle. I am glad that he is humble, but he can't over do it. Ya know? I can't believe you blaming your AI love on miles! you should be able to scream it from the mountain tops, dancing kid or not.
I am a proud AI watcher. Allison and I are hooked. Cicely, I had no idea that you were as kooky as Paula. Are you on pain killers for your knee? Nice to know that lil' Davey made both of you cry.
Personally, I'm a fan of the guy with dreads. Have you noticed his dreamy eyes? I have. As for the girls, I'm a Sayisha fan. Have you noticed her hot bod? I have.

oh my gosh you are killing me, so I usually watch american idol with my kids, cause it's good clean fun right? but this season I decided to watch it before they got home, don't know why. I have found that it's great napping tv. Im not kidding, I turn that show on and before Ryan Seacrest is shown, Im out. It's fabulous. And I think that David is a little young for you..
I am a total closet American Idol fan. I even rush to my phone to vote when it is over. I guess it's out of the closet now. oh well.
