My thoughts.

I'll start at the very beginning, a very good place to start. When you read you begin with "ABC" when you blog you begin with "all about me." Just a little Sound of Music for your viewing pleasure.

I fell in love with David at Churchill Jr. High. He was in 8th grade, I was in 7th. I was loud and probably annoying. He was a shy skateboarder with really baggy pants- which just happened to be my favorite kind of pants and my favorite qualities in a man when I was in 7th grade.

I finally got him to date me when I was a sophomore and he a junior at Skyline High School. We fell in love.

Now we are married and not much has changed other than his pants have shrunk in size a great deal and I am less annoying. Well, I guess that is debatable. And, of course, we have a beautiful baby boy named Miles. I am guessing that the brunt if this blog will be about Miles so it is important that I introduce him.

He is now just about 16 months old and a genius. He knows at least 100 signs that he communicates to us for all occasions. He will tell me he is cold, hot, hungry, thirsty, tired, poopy, whether or not he wants a bath, a popsicle, some bread, a hat, to go in the car, water, apples, marshmallows, milk, his Dad, to read a book or if he needs some help. The kid is amazing. He is saying words like ball, up, down, on, off, mom, dad, belly button, and he does this gurgling thing with his mouth when he wants a bath. This week we are learning colors. I'll let you know how it goes.

Everyone brags about their kids on blogs right?

Now I'll brag about my Dave. Best father and husband ever. I really believe that. I couldn't have asked for a better EC.

Currently his is getting ready for med school. We move in July to Erie, Pennsylvania so that he can attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He will graduate at the University of Utah in May and then we are off. And I can't wait,

Seriously. I really can't wait. It's embarrassing how much effort I spend looking at real estate in Erie. It really is.

I teach a baby sign language class called BabyHands at my home in SLC. I love it. I am hoping that I will be able to do more classes in PA, but I guess we will see when we get out there.

Well, that is my family.
We are the Cains.

Yeah! Here you are now! I'm sure I will get to know you better via the internet which is totally weird and twisted but good in a way too.

Erie, PA?? I've never even heard of that place. Sure it will be a nice place to be though.
